Minister McConalogue to address 2020 Agri Guild Awards

Shortlist announced for awards in advance of ceremony on 18th December

11th December 2020: The Guild of Agricultural Journalists today announced the shortlist for the 2020 Agri Guild Awards, sponsored by FBD Insurance. The awards, which are held every two years, aim to encourage excellence in the reporting of farming, food and rural life on the island of Ireland. 

This year’s awards will be live streamed to attendees from the RDS Dublin, on Friday 18th December from 3-4pm. The ceremony will be hosted by RTE Broadcaster Damien O’Reilly and Chair of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists, Amy Forde. It will also feature an address from Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue.

More than 200 entries were received into this years awards which were reviewed by an independent judging panel. The shortlist for the 2020 Agri Guild awards is as follows:
