ENAJ highlights schedule of events for 2018

In its latest newsletter to members, the ENAJ outlined its upcoming agenda for 2018, which includes a general assembly in Herning (Denmark).

In 2018, the Bulgarian and the Austrian guilds will also invite ENAJ for the two informal meetings of agricultural ministers in May and September. Beside these highlights the guilds from Croatia, Czech Republic and Germany will organise low budget press trips
The Croatian event will combine with the 70th anniversary of the Croatian National broadcasting station’s agricultural radio-program. The press trip will start in Zadar and end in Zagreb.
The tour in the Czech Republic focuses on beer production from hops to glass, while in Germany colleagues plan a tour on innovations in dairy farming with a focus on drying up cows without antibiotics and a tour on ecological farming in eastern Germany.
The Netherlands will host the IFAJ congress from July 11-15. The theme of the congress is “Dutch Roots, small country, big solutions.”
The AGM in Herning, Denmark, takes place November 26-28 at Agromek, northern Europe’s biggest agricultural machinery fair. This is the second time the board of Agromek invites ENAJ, following the first visit in 2016. We will be invited to the exposition, workshops, a farm visit and the famous Viking evening.
ENAJ chairwoman Katharina Seuser said the ENAJ programme for 2018 has not been finalized, with more events and invitations in the pipeline.
